About Us
Who are we ?
Located in Sainte-Catherine, on the South Shore of Montreal, Garderie Les Étoiles de la Rive is a place of learning, joy, and trust. Since 2012, we have welcomed up to 56 children in a safe, stimulating environment tailored to their development. As a private, non-subsidized daycare, we have the freedom to adopt a flexible approach focused on the individual needs of each child. We value independence, self-esteem, curiosity, and socialization to help every child grow with confidence and happiness.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide children with a living environment where they can play, learn, and thrive at their own pace. We encourage overall development cognitive, motor, emotional, and social within a climate of respect, trust, and positivity. We believe that every child is a little star who deserves to shine in their own unique way.
Our Educational Approach
At Garderie Les Étoiles de la Rive, we offer a structured, flexible educational program tailored to the needs of each age group, from the nursery to preschool.
Our goal is to optimize the overall development of every child by providing varied and meaningful experiences.
We aim to support the development of all aspects of the child :
- Sensory and motor development

- Autonomy and self-confidence
- Socialization and emotional regulation
- Creativity and self-expression
- Cognitive and emotional growth
Play is at the heart of our approach, as it is the natural way for children to explore, understand, and interact with the world around them.
We also implement the official educational program of the Government of Québec,
"Accueillir la petite enfance" ("Welcoming Early Childhood"), which guides our daily pedagogical practices.

Our team is made up of qualified, caring, and passionate early childhood educators. Each staff member is committed to providing a nurturing and safe environment while building a trusting relationship with the children and their families.
We maintain constant communication with parents, fostering a spirit of collaboration to ensure continuity between home and daycare.
